Apple has released an urgent software update for both its mobile (iPhone, iPad, etc.) and desktop devices (iMac, Macbook, MacPro, etc) that all Apple users need to install now.
This update is an important security-only upgrade for two vulnerabilities that Apple believes adversaries are already using to attack people’s devices through the iMessage app.
Please apply this security patch as soon as possible on all Apple devices. For your mobile devices, you will need to be on a WiFi connection to install this update. For desktop computers, you must be connected to the internet either through WiFi or a wired connection.

- Tap Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Software Update
- Tap Download and Install
HOW TO UPDATE MAC OS ON YOUR APPLE DESKTOP COMPUTERS
- Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of your screen
- Click About This Mac
- Click Software Update in the bottom-right corner of the Overview tab
- Click Download and Install
